Mark 9:17-18 - A Deflecting plea.
Vs. 19 Jesus pointed out that the source of the problem was not with
his son or with the disciples.
• It is God's love that directs the attention back to you.
•Salvation is your problem, not the lack of good preaching or the
failures of others.
A doubting plea. Mark 9:22- "If thou canst do anything, have
compassion on us."
•Formula creation is not salvation.
A desparate plea. Mark 9:24. -"Lord I believe; help my unbelief."
• the problem is with me and my lack of surrender.
Surrender is the singlemost enlistment requirement in God's army.
